Since September 2019 you find our Ashoka Spa in the 5-star residence, the Relais & Chateaux Hotel, Palheiro Nature Estate. Our spa concept, which is based on the 5 elements – the Bioenergies in us – we have adapted specifically to the needs of golfers. But even non-golfers among the guests will find their individual program in the beautiful Palheiro Spa powered by Ashoka Ayurveda.

More than Just a 5-Star Hotel

The Palheiro Nature Estate offers more than just a pure relaxation holiday. The property was built in the 19th century, originally as a hunting lodge. It offers 38 rooms and features one of Madeiras most beautiful gardens, the Palheiro Garden, as well as an 18-hole championship golf course. The now opened Ashoka Spa completes the holistic concept and thus creates a connection between sports, nature and wellness.

In addition to the unique Kalari massages, which are particularly beneficial for the musculoskeletal system of athletes, we offer special QiGong lessons for golfers. The slow, flowing Physical exercises have a place in traditional Chinese medicine and serve as an important treatment method. After an Ashoka treatment, golfers will be balanced and fortified again for another game on the challenging golf course of the traditional Palheiro Nature Estate. The extensive spa menu includes ayurvedic treatments, full-body massages from all over the world, and beauty treatments using exclusively products from the natural cosmetics brand Pharmos Nature, which are made from 100% pure Aloe Vera. These treatments in combination with the beautiful Palheiro SPA: all this makes the Ashoka experience a 360 degree experience for all your senses.​
